Why We're a Great fit

OATA has studied customer behavior for years to understand how to best serve our customers and how to improve on our top-notch service.

Adapting to the Times

We’ve looked at how dealers submit their work from every angle to determine how to make life easier for everyone involved. This research has led us to implement several innovative changes over the years, including the addition of what are now our most used processes, like mail-in, drop-off, express filing and electronic filing.

Live Status Updates

Dealers can access live status updates and check the status of previously delivered work at any time on our website. From their office, they can register newly purchased vehicles and supply customers with temporary tags or issue new tags. All they have to do is scan the paperwork and send it over to our offices using our online system.

We’ve streamlined the filing process to make it easier, quicker and more pleasant.

Adding New Services

To make life easier for those who partner with us, we now provide options like mail-in, drop-off, express, and electronic filing system (EFS) paperwork processing. If a dealer decides they would prefer not to visit our office in person or if they’re outside of our area, they can mail in their paperwork or use our electronic filing system.

With easy processes and competitive rates, it’s no wonder dealers count on OATA for fast and easy processing. OATA is special in more ways than one when it comes to getting paperwork processed. We make the process easier and more pleasant.

Tax Collectors

Partnering with OATA

Why would a tax collector partner with OATA? Here are some of the reasons:

  • CAPACITY – We can help you service more customers with zero added costs.

  • ACCURACY – Our experienced staff gets it right the first time.

  • SPEED – We strive for 24-hour turnaround.

  • CUSTOMER-SERVICE FOCUSED – We treat our clients like family.

The biggest complaint we hear from customers is that we grade work too stringently. And we’re OK with that! What we do reflects on the tax collectors who work with us, so we do our due diligence to make sure nothing but quality comes out of our office.

Streamlining the Process

Tax collectors help everyone. Individuals and dealers can go to these offices to complete work related to vehicle titles and registrations and driver’s licenses.

The main difference between a tax collector’s office and OATA is that we only serve dealers and tax collectors, which allows us to streamline the filing process.

Electronic Filing with OATA

OATA utilizes an EFS, or electronic filing system, so dealers don’t need to wait around at our office, creating a more pleasant experience for everyone involved.

The Department of Motor Vehicles

What the DMV Does

DMVs handle several processes in each state, both online and in-person. Some states, like Florida, have separate agencies for registration and licensing. The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Bureau of Dealer Services issues and renews licenses for several types of on- and off-road vehicles.

By handling a high volume of customers, delivering accuracy with experienced staff, and striving for a 24-hour turnaround, OATA helps DMVs become more efficient.

DMV vs OATA

While the DMV might be a necessity for the average person, dealers often lack the time needed for an appointment at the DMV. That’s where OATA comes in.

We service dealers and tax collectors specifically, streamlining the administrative process and providing faster turnaround on registration and licensing paperwork. Because of our unique business model, we can help you get more done in less time.
